LET ONE RUN

I’ll let one run off my lip.
A thought or a slip
Of the tongue where it will come
When my mind takes a trip
And lets out the words or absurds
When my voice loosens its grip

To keep it exclusive
It may be abusive  a little obtrusive
When I do, say these things to you
In hopes you’ll be elusive
When you reply toward my vie
As your voice sounds perhaps intrusive

Perhaps I could hold it in
To make your head spin
With your wonder you’ll want to uncover
All the answers within
Making you go out of your way in hopes I’ll say
In a voice that makes you grin
