ONLY ONE FOREVER

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , on August 31, 2010 by ravenstooth
Some day’s over and I’m still laughing
Probably just pass my mind
Now that nothing can stop what’s happened
I hope to see what I find

As I walk right into the water
Let it wash away the rest of you
Now I can be the man you once dreamt of too

Well I think this time I’ll just keep walkin
And keep my head on right
By now I’ve seen the crows all flockin
And their eyes are black as night

As I walk right into the water
I can soak all the sorrows of you
Now I can be the man you once dreamt of too

Cuz phases are slow motion follies
That everyone blames due to age
As wisdom and power give you jollies
There are so many things that can make you feel strange

But there is only one forever for me
And I’ll try to see things right
I hope that I’ll find another lover
That will make my shine shine bright

So when I walk right into the water so pure
I’ll let it wash away the you that I knew
Now I can be the man you once dreamt of too

Cuz phases are slow motion follies
That everyone blames due to age
As wisdom and power give you jollies
There are so many things that can make you feel strange

But there is only one forever for me
And I’ll try to see things right
I hope that I’ll find another lover
That will make my shine shine bright

As I walk right into the water so pure
I’ll let it wash away the you that I knew
Now I can be the man you once dreamt of too

STANDING THERE SHADY

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , on August 30, 2010 by ravenstooth
In the order of the seasons
All doing fine
Talking to the weather
Never in line

Sleeping in the shady
The wind whispers shy
Watching all the blue birds
As they fly on by

Standing up
Hold my hand
Unrelentlessly
Now we’re pure
To be let go free
Here we are
Now stand with me
We’ve been gone to long

I could beg you please
You’re not the one I need

The magic is coming
It bred on the lifetime
Sooner or later
The sun will always shine

Standing up
Hold my hand
Unrelentlessly
Now we’re pure
To be let go free
Here we are
Now stand with me
We’ve been gone too long

I could beg you please
Until you’re the one I need
Beg you please
Seasons all gone
We’re still strong

Fly on by my shady
Fly by shady
Laugh until you have saved me
Show your sunshine
Know that you are doing fine
We’ll let the sun run babe
As the seasons are strong
We’ll talk for so long
And then maybe
We’ll seem happy
But will we really be where we’re at babe
Will we see the things as they are babe
Baby
I’m just standing there in the shady
Come over and be my baby
Come on and be my baby
I’m standing there
Standing there shady

Brighten up my shady
You’re so beautiful baby
Shine bright on my shady
Shine, shine, shine, shine my shady
You could become my lady
We’ll let the sun run baby
As the seasons are strong
We’ll talk for so long
And then maybe
We’ll seem happy
But will we really be where we’re at babe
Will we see the things as they are babe
Baby
I’m just standing there in the shady
Come over and be my baby
Come on and be my baby
I’m standing there
Standing there shady

THE MOUNTAIN STARTS TO SHAKE

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on August 29, 2010 by ravenstooth
All along there’s a dream giving you haste
As you float naturally without leaving your place
And when you wake up all those pieces seem to be deliriously strewn
Your mind clears up from what you had
There’s never really anything to make you mad
And in these funny dreams, your visions mock and act out these scenes

And the mountain starts to shake
Walks in between
Our echoed dream

All the leaves fall and touch the ground
Some float by without making a sound
And if you pick one up, you can hear the green turn to red or orange or yellow or brown
And as time goes by they start to decay
The grass will grow tall in its own special way
And the trees will start to leave throughout the spring and become the perfect color green

And the mountain startS to shake
Paints in between
Our wild dream

And if you look out of your window now
Your time is past without ever knowing how
And the days crawl on between the dusk and the dawn, and keep going on and on and on
You shed a tear here and a smile there
Your love grows and you hate’s unfair
But you decide whatever you want, but remember your reactions are yours to taunt

And the mountains start to shake
Speaks in between
Our beautiful dream

DEAR ANCIENTS

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on August 27, 2010 by ravenstooth
Disowned…
This delirium that penetrates me
Rapes me cheerful
If I could guess
I lend to you
The other side is starving true
Blaming ancients trained strangled in dichotomy
Left empty and it entraps me in all their weathered bones

As will folds my wings, seeking strength, seeing moulds
As will folds my wings
And as birds sing songs, sharing winds, seeking strength
And as birds sing songs

Fading out… just fading out
Dear ancients… dear ancients

Just when there’s no time to sleep
No matters to the sudden sea
This delirium that penetrates my freeze
I might want to climb my fear and soar
Or lie down

Just fading out

Just like the crows that beckon my fear
Webbed as the spiders nigh caught fly
This delirium that penetrates my mind
I may want to climb my fear and soar
Or lie down
But I won’t stay…
And I won’t stay

Dear ancients… Dear ancients…Dear ancients

The dusk makes me find out about my self bliss
The dusk makes me find out about my self bliss
The dusk makes me find out about my self bliss
The dusk makes me find out about my self bliss

Just when there’s no time to sleep
No matters to the sudden sea
This delirium that penetrates my freeze
I might want to climb my fear and soar
Or lie down
But I won’t stay
And I won’t stay
But I won’t stay
And I won’t stay

Just fading out… Just fading out… Fading out… Just fading out

BUT I FORGOT IT

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , on August 27, 2010 by ravenstooth
Inside me some how
I have found my soul
Outside me some where
I have let it all go

Push me in the sliver
Push me in the sliver
Push me in the sliver
Push me in the sliver

Almost spotted
But I forgot it
Would have thought it
Should have fought it

Floating leaf, drift slow
Downstream there’s one who’ll know
Plucked fallen and sleepy
Somethings have thoughts deeply

Push me in the sliver
Push me in the sliver
Push me in the sliver
Push me in the sliver

Almost got it
But I forgot it
Would have thought it
Should have sought it

There is no worth
In the speech or truth
This page you turned
May not become learned

I’ll find me some how
In my heart and soul
Behind me some where
I’ll have to let it go

Push me in the sliver
Push me in the sliver
Push me in the sliver
Push me in the sliver

Almost bought it
But I forgot it
You never thought it
That I fought it
But did she want it

PRESSED THE WINTER

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , on August 27, 2010 by ravenstooth
Pressed the winter to snow me
Bearing trust with white
Could the dreams come only
Without all of the fright
As the world starts to window
Through the clear glass pretend
Not to allow the shadows
If only I saw a friend
Have you shown
When you ask me to come here
Would you give me life again
Or will I cry… until my end

Summer’s breath wilts the tall grass
Weeply drowning in heat
If I held out til I pass
Will my death be so neat
As when wilderness haunts you
Deeply lost in despair
If the sweet meadow does taunt you
Would you lose all your care
And I’ve known
When you ask me to draw near
Would you give me life again
Or will I cry… until my end

FROM THE EDGES OF THE SHADE

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on August 26, 2010 by ravenstooth
As the night becomes so bright
To listen to your sight
Your fright becomes so slight
As your awareness is so tight

From the edges of the shade
You’ll open mundane threshold
A beacon of the fade
Broke the colors of your gold

From what we passed then know
Our empty wishes find out
We have nothing else to show
When we borrow from our doubt

We lend from how we sow
As our gardens seldom grow
Unless we willfully show
That our sorrow’s not in tow

When we follow all the dust that blows
Taking none to hurry
Catching the flightless birds
As they squawk and scurry

From what we laughed then go
Our empty hopes will find out
We have no one else to hold
When we listen to all their doubt

I passed the stars downstream
Not one would think to wish me
And in my mind I’ll scream
As the fish are trying to fish me

Your sorrows will lead you home
When your bags are full so hopeless
You could walk a thousand miles alone
Or give your self so selfless

From what we passed then know
Our empty wishes find out
We have nothing else to show
When we borrow from our doubt

Then I tripped upon my pain
As I looked up I was crying
As I have done again and again
Without ever even trying…trying

There is never any answers
As our questions will come and go
Like the music moves the dancers
As the river’s waters flow

There is never any answers
As our questions will come and go
Like the music moves the dancers
As the river’s waters flow

There is never any answers
As our questions will come and go
Like the music moves the dancers
As the river’s waters flow
