WHAT HAVE I FOUND

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , on October 26, 2010 by ravenstooth
What have I found
Inside this box
Never believed
My world just rocks
I held on so long
To ripped and rotten
And what I have found has made me forgotten

She smiles inside my visions and dreams
I hold her there to seal the seams
We live so far away from our love
There must be something we can think of
To make the distance become a walks width
And make the time away easier to miss

What have I found
Was love in this box
Now I believe
Her world rocks
I’ll hold her for ever-long
To sip her sweet smile
For what I have found will be with me every mile

MY INVISIBLE EYES

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 20, 2010 by ravenstooth
My invisible eyes now can see
They dream of light and discovery
Once they saw a meadow serene
And across the valley a mountain stream

I opened them, for the birds had a song
They would sing it to me all day long
Their tune sent shivers down my spine
I would hum along with them in my mind

I can touch the sight without loosing my way
That’s when I woke and saw you one day
My invisible eyes lent out the world
And you smiled as my thoughts unfurled

You kissed me with your wilderness glow
Then dance in my head like a new rainbow
Your crimson hair flying in the breeze
It’s a pleasure to see you and apiece

Now spoken, our life stories unravel
Like time was uncovered in our loose gravel
As we kick at the cobbles that mean the most
Then pick up the unique stones we really boast

My invisible eyes come out to be seen
As we strike out into this world of green
Our sights we’ll add to our pile of rocks
Each one telling our memory as it talks

We could believe in something that we hold dear
Together a new start is nothing we should fear
The light draws into these dreams we think of
For my eyes aren’t invisible when they see love

EYES- TO THE BONE

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 16, 2010 by ravenstooth
One time, I came upon a spider’s web in the road
I climbed on up and ask the spider what’s her name
She sold me a bound up empty and wasted carcass
I took it as my body became sucked away

Eyes- to the bone
I cried
Eyes- to the bone

I came up upon this luscious and sacred garden
Inside there was a maiden fair and willing to play
I took her into the worshiped and holy fountain
She made me feel like I was nothing but a charade
There was no escape from her parade

Eyes- to the bone
She could be about all that I’ve cried
Until my life has died
Eyes- to the bone
As for her love there is nothing I’ve denied
Eyes- to the bone
I cried
Eyes- to the bone

And then she will climb
Then she will climb
She will climb to me
She will climb to me
Inside to me
Inside to me
She’ll show me that her eyes are craving everything she sees in me
Take me to her inspirations that lead me back into her dream
Dream into me

Eyes- to the bone
I cried
Eyes- to the bone
She lets her sweat climb around me
I’m giving her my soul
Eyes- to the bone
As for her love, there is nothing I’ve denied
Eyes- to the bone
I cried
Eyes- to the bone
I cried
Eyes- to the bone
I cried
Eyes- to the bone
I cried…

EACH DAY DISCOVERS

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 14, 2010 by ravenstooth
Each day discovers
And sometimes very strange
There are these thoughts at times
Hoping they will make up for the change
There are these thoughts at times
Maybe one day they help me change

There is a reason
And only one that I will ever know
That every reason makes you grow
When the sun peeks out I feel like I should be happy again
Even with these fears
I carry with me each day

Each night uncovers
As hollow as the sound
The air is crisp and cool
As moisture lies upon the autumn ground
The air is crisp and cool
As memories come unto me somehow

There is a reason
And only one that I will ever know
That every reason makes you grow
When the sun peeks out I feel like I should be happy again
Even with these fears
I carry with me each day

There is a reason
And only one that I will ever know
That every reason makes you grow
When the sun peeks out I feel like I should be happy again
Even with these fears
I carry with me each day

A BOLD WISDOM FOR AGE

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , on October 13, 2010 by ravenstooth
Go…
Go to where you meld
Instead you just yelled
A loose lie for gain
Is the truth so hard to yield
All you get is pain
As your eyes begin to strain
If you think you can meld

Do you listen to your fade
And the things you hold close
The wind in the breeze
All the leaves on a single tree
A bold wisdom for age
Will you feel too strange
When there’s no one to come home
And you’re all alone in your rage

Have you missed
Have you missed me my dear
There’s a pretty big hole
Where it was once filled with soul
Now all there is, is fear
Thinking about the last loving sound
But it hasn’t been around
What’s left are these tears
Have you missed me my dear

FLOW…ENTRANCING

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 10, 2010 by ravenstooth
Sittin in my lonely room
And hey… I’m doing ok
There seems to be another shine
And hey…the reflection is mine
Seems so empty now
Now… that you have left me here
I couldn’t have asked for a better time
Now…that my mind is finally clear
Lowww… entrancing

Contemplating endless sight
And hey… I might come back
Weary about the road ahead
But hey…I’m right on track
Could I see the next horizon
Maybe in a thousand years
You could be my next surprising
Only if there were no tears
Slowww… entrancing

I should keep reminding
Maybe in a thousand years
I wish the days surrounded
All the wasted tears
There’s someone who will surprise me
In the horizon
And I’ll keep on laughing
All the time
Flowww… entrancing

FEEL

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , on October 9, 2010 by ravenstooth
Let the want become daydream
Every moment be instant
No need to have wisdom
Let the water be weakness
In the silence there’s knowledge
As the tempted be humbled
With the wonder comes the wicked
We could be detritus

As we find what we feel
We find what we feel
We find what we feel
Shout into the mirror
Find what we feel
We find what we feel
We find what we feel
Shout into the mirror

Royal purple
Shine into clear amber
Forest embers
Keep lack the knack I’m haunting
Just like the darkness laughter
Royal purple
Keep my back in wanting
Somewhere find you
Searching my laughing ass off
Pour you my wild flower

As we find what we  feel

We find what we feel
We find what we feel
Shout into the mirror
Find what we feel
We find what we feel
We find what we feel
Shout into the mirror

Out there, there the storms fall
Fly til the residue will call
Out there, We might as well be pathetic
We should go in
I should go in
You could go in
Where ever we begin

Find what we feel
Find what we feel

Find what we feel
Find what we feel

Find what we feel
Find what we feel

Find what we feel
Find what we feel

Find what we feel
Find what we feel

Find what we feel
Find what we feel

Find what we feel
Find what we feel

Find what we feel
Look into the mirror
Look into the mirror
There it’s even clearer
There it’s even clearer
Where ever we begin

DREAMS

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 5, 2010 by ravenstooth
These dreams we see
Inside our sleep
Are sometimes colored
And sometimes deep
We see the things we would never think
As to help us feel when we touch the brink
A reality pours into our soul
A vision of wonder
To ponder, to hold
We wake remembering only a slightest whiff
And once in a while we dare to climb the cliff
As for our reality, our dreams are guiding our way
We can see some parts play out in the things we say
These dreams we see
Inside our sleep
Are everything woven
In the company we keep

THEY ARE COLOR-BLIND

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 3, 2010 by ravenstooth
Outside the world is lit
With outstretched and flowering
Dawn’s intention drowns the night
Sounding simple interesting
Wake dimensions lingering
Falling for the waded moments
Triangled visionings
Sounds are resigned by our fascinations
The white is radiant
Look to horror
Signal fires laugh at me
Warriors dressed in spring beckoning
Death imposing threatening
We divulge into the forest
Burning home the frozen wonder
See the devil mock the heavens
Watching women walk together
Seeing all that has yet to come
Some day you’ll get your shit
Letting brothers strangle loving
See once more the wild repress
Wait a moment the rain is falling
Soul drained into wet
Here the river floods our weakness
Driven to the ocean’s fret
Summoning life’s mute bleakness
I saw the crows come in
And they searched for days in mountains
Here they are tired and spent
Feathers loose and molting
There’s no way to describe
The perfect circle or heron’s vie
A feeble one will try to place
Their hands upon the mirror’s face
And reaching for the blinking eye
They hold themselves way up high
Capturing the season to come
A twenty-eight winter or a load for some
There was a time that they shut their mouth
And seeked the mansions and headed south
We could be honored at our bed
With roses and lilies that wilt when dead
As for the rest of time we will not see
The days are just as long in infinity
She’ll touch your wisdom
Her finger tips
Wipe the ancient across your visions
Celebrate her aged pleasures and lips
Soon to belong to destiny
The fate is motion like the river
Cascading boroughs before long ago
The water’s entity is quick as silver
Staring serenely into an empty ally
the ghosts are presiding in the hot liquid folly
Your dance in the myote brings out the coyote
You strike the death eyes blank and power
She weeps at the blank stare for hours and hours
No one home where the polished cars park
The carpets are dirty and so is the dark
Ominous reeds in milky puddled thrush
Seconds before fucking the waters will gush
We wake at noon with the time spinning around
Like the sound of happiness peeking our found
Whose to guide the mystery boxed future
With the fluttering inside the stomach’s torture
Just let it out, the paper doesn’t mind
As for the pen and ink-
They are color-blind

EYES FETCH

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on October 1, 2010 by ravenstooth
All those feathers fell to the ground
Swirling in a pile then scattering one at a time
The eerie damp evening grips the sound
As wings flap into the wind and we begin to climb

The heavy air strangles our breath
Until we soar above the limbs and stretch
The air lightens and we can see depth
And gazing into the canopy our eyes fetch

Our wilderness that we’ve been hiding…

FUNNEL:
Blinking to the twilight sadden and breathless
Here among the ever-last there are no tornadoes
Without a funnel spiralling all around
We sleep inside the chaos of unknown
Speaking sheepishly as strangers become home
Funnel down into the drowning bright light
Hold on to our mischief and let loose our minds
See that there are no borders entangling dreams
Quench the entrance of this new world amazing
Funnel into me as we crash into our lives
Wildly…
And free
