THE LARK

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 26, 2010 by ravenstooth
Is the lingering lark always sitting
With the pause of sun in its eye
As the mist crowds in on the fly

Squinting hard to see if it’s snow spitting
Watch the lark turn and hit the sky
The mist seems to be turning out dry

Up above we hear the lark singing
We smile and see it fly
She’s is circling around inside the blue sky
Oh yeah she singing
She’ll be singing all day
Yeah the mist is following
On this beautiful day
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

I love to see you smiling
Anytime you show your face
I wish to make you smile
For your happiness is worth the skylark’s chase

As we head on into the meadow
The tall grass is wet with dew
I can hear the lark singing it’s song for you
Oh yes I do

Up above we hear the lark singing
We smile and see it fly
She is circling around inside the blue sky
Oh yeah she singing
She’ll be singing all day
Yeah the dew is drying too
On this beautiful day
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

I love to see you smiling
Anytime you show your face
I wish to make you smile
For your happiness is worth the meadowlark’s chase

I love you darling
You love me too

HUNTING FOR TRUTH AGAIN

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 24, 2010 by ravenstooth
OOOOOOOOO…..
Drifting loosely in my disaster
Finding out that nothing matters

Hunting for truth again
Somewhere before the end
Nowhere does the reason wait
Perhaps I leave it up to fate

Shifting into realms so further
Pushing out the words that matter

Hunting for truth again
Somewhere before the end
Nowhere does the reason wait
Perhaps I leave it up to fate
Hunting for truth again
Somewhere before the end
Nowhere does the reason wait
Perhaps I leave it up to fate

When I’m gone
Like to see you down on your own
When I’m upon
How you feel when you’ve flown
When I’m along
You may never wait that long
When I’m wrong
I can see you aren’t that strong
I love you!
Do you?

LOST IN HOUR-GLASS SANDS

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on September 23, 2010 by ravenstooth
The full moon
and autumn
Cool evenings return
Blankets
Thoughtless sleep
Mirrors weep
Tried to find clouds
Lost in hour-glass sands
HMM.. If only
The fall moon was
Full
Then I’d be with
You
Restless and worried
Where did the summer go
She’s gone
Trapped inside her reflection
Posture
and bottom
The full moon
and autumn
return…

OPEN MY IMAGE

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 22, 2010 by ravenstooth
Time to empty
All of me
And drown all my pity
How those words taste so shitty
How will I ever be
So free

So I tow my past as I wonder and I wish for my horizon
There is no thoughts for reason
Or surge of hope
Only the end

Never speaking
Never freely giving
All my stories are so blind
Windows melting
Metamorphic weeping
Flowers aura in my mind
So not so stranger
Width more acres, sneaking
Stay inside the finds

Time to empty
All of me
And drown all my pity
How those words taste so shitty
How will I ever be
So free

This is drab lustre pseudo
Travelin me
Sewn heightened distant
Pleasuring inside of me

So I tow my past as I wonder and I wish for my horizon
There is no thoughts for reason
Or surge of hope
Only the end

Never speaking
Never freely giving
All my stories are so blind
Windows melting
Metamorphic weeping
Flowers aura in my mind

Hear my voice is crowding soundly
Causing most the ghosts to dine
Vexing language morosely windy
Searching timeless for lost impatiently mine

Come and taste my hyacinth
Come and be my horizon nymph

See my starling do
Open my image
Losing my floating feather
Watch like a precipice so
I don’t worry
Or search behind myself
Into the future
Or right beside myself
Soon fly like a sparrow
Or talk to a beauty
Fly like a sparrow
Must let the firelight
Open my image

If my thoughts become my sound
I shudder like a hapless clown
As dust blows in I just begin
To hold the Earth like a kid again
And pause the day to drown my fear
I sound just like a frozen tear
If anything could open me
If anything could open me
Hold the dust that just blew in
I’ll sweep the Earth across my skin
Take the wild into the end
It may take me to where I begin
Diverge life
Freak open
Diverge life
Speak open
Diverge life
Keep open
Diverge life
Seek open

THE HIGHWAY
BLANKS
OUR MIND
WITH DAYDREAMS
AND,
OF TIME

THE WONDER I’M KEEPING

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 21, 2010 by ravenstooth
You make it hard to understand
I’m not too sure there’s a better plan
When you dance inside my mind
I wish my world was so divine

Holding on when I should let go
Then you call me up just to say hello
It’s the wonder I’m keeping even when I do not know

Sometimes I feel like I could rust
When I dream of you too much
Even when I wake up your not there
I still see your long long hair

Holding on when I should let go
Then you call me up just to say hello
It’s the wonder I’m keeping even when I do not know

Maybe I should set you free
Along with all my memory
All my love will never bring you here
You”ll never be happy with me my dear

Holding on when I should let go
Then you call me up just to say hello
It’s the wonder I’m keeping even when I do not know

IN OUR CALMING AUTUMN

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 20, 2010 by ravenstooth
Tasting your tears
Knowing your sadness holds you down
Giving you my love
My calmness creates a smile for that frown

Make your eyes shine
Our hearts combine
Flowing
Kissing your skin
Our love begins
Growing

I hold you in my arms until your sleeping
I’ll keep your smiling eyes clear from weeping

Feeling you breathe
Watching your chest rise up and down
You dream in peace
You make me chase that dream around

Fall in your sleep
Our breaths are deep
Growing
The lights go dim
Our love begins
Flowing

We lie there dreaming in our calming autumn

THAT YOU WERE SMILING

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 19, 2010 by ravenstooth
When I stepped out into the fresh midnight air
I was feeling pretty good and I knew I would
Begin to see me
And the moon shone white like a flashlight beam
And I started to dream, I swear I heard you scream
Then I could see you

Sat down on the cool wet lawn
To try to let this run
Thought there until the moon crashed into dawn
And watched the rising sun
My only hope was that you were smiling

Then the morning rooster begged for the waking light
As he yelled his crow, to let everyone know
He was yawning
And the dew that wet the lawn all that night
Which cooled the air, there was fog everywhere
We were dawning

Witnessed the morning doves flying in my head
I also saw the chickadees come scavenging for pieces of bread
They never even saw our shadows shiver

And then in from the east, flew a raven
He was a screaming showman, tricked us to believe the omen
Was our distant echo
When I stepped back into my reality there
I was feeling very good, I could tell that my path would
Begin to let go

Sat down on the dry green lawn
To try to let this run
Thought there until the sun crashed away the dawn
And watched the raven sun
My only hope was that you were smiling

HOW YOU OPENED UP YOUR DOOR

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 18, 2010 by ravenstooth
Even though we laugh we don’t know who we are
Seeing all the stories they wrote in the stars
As we kiss the harvest moon is our own savior

I hold you like the dawn that has opened our eyes
You draw me back into the love you hold in your thighs
As our bodies fold into our spent loving behavior

Thought you hoped I’d open up this soul I found
And you spoke of dreams that come around
How it is that I never come back to the ground
Your love makes my heart want to pound
Yeah your love makes my heart want to pound

When I think of all the things that you do
Your eyes and smile make me feel so true
I never will forget how you opened up your door

GAZE OUT OF MY EYES

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on September 18, 2010 by ravenstooth
I’m just teasing
I could be wrong inside
World is bleeding
As does the wild side

Hope is lonely
Eyes weep like window panes
You’ll never know me
I’m like the sky that rains

Gaze out of my eyes
I could tell you stories
Just how the world becomes a slave
Gaze out of my eyes
Nothings complicated
As dreams are so hard to save

You are dressed best
Nines are out tonight
I could just test this
Wrapped as your legs are tight

Dreams are for calming
Birds flock to scare the fear
Your fire is so warming
As is your heart my dear

Gaze out of my eyes
I could tell you stories
Just how the world becomes a slave
Gaze out of my eyes
Nothings complicated
As dreams are so hard to save
Hard to save…

Gaze out of my eyes
I could tell you stories
Just how the world becomes a slave
Gaze out of my eyes
Nothings complicated
As dreams are so…
Are so hard to save
Hard to save…
Hard to save…
Hard to save…
