BE THE SAME

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on September 9, 2010 by ravenstooth
I remember riding
On this long and narrow road
And there was something that made me wave hello
Once we caught our smiles
We knew just who we were
And we were crazy and wanted to make damn sure

You made life so fun again
I’m sure there’s no one
Who can turn my head around
Without wondering if it’s you again
I keep on hoping, but it will never be the same

You are out there crying
And I am here alone
We should make it like we did that day
But time has slipped and we faded away
And in a moment I appeared one day
We picked up right from that time we played

You made life so fun again
I’m sure there’s no one
Who can turn my head around
Without wondering if it’s you again
I keep on hoping, but it will never be the same
Be the same…

I am here all lonely
And you are crying now
We should make love like we did that day
But time has slipped and we faded away
And in a moment I appeared one day
We picked up right from that day we played

You made life so fun again
I’m sure there’s no one
Who can turn my head around
Without wondering if it’s you again
I keep on hoping, but it will never be the same
Be the same…

DISTANCE PLAGUES US

Distance plagues us
As we are legends in our own mind
We never had a chance
To resurrect the distant moment in our time
So we are now plagued in the wasted resin
And waking up in dreamt vomit to begin
The days are weak malice protruding hollow
Who becomes champion in the distant lavender
We will perish the fortress and wind up licking salamanders
The frozen skies drown the hurricane’s tongue
These new machines call us connected
But we become further in our awakened water
Here we sit mocking existence
Laughing at wishes
Spiraling into realms of boredom
Trusting the wants but pushing away the needs
Higher we climb the aborted monument
The flag flies there, a burnt echo of broken misery
Attached to the flowers secrete wisdom
Overlooked by scenery and decisions
Whose fall will pick the other one up
Repeat the effects of stoned guesses
The horse rides head high, mane whispering
An overly outstretched hand gets a slap from distance
The plague rots inside and hovers like wild penetration
We cry for our try, and see the end reaching us
We’ll die alone broken by wonder and retreat
The plague becomes like a brother or sister
Not lover or intimate discovery
Which dissolves the glue that bound the past
The future is for infinity to decide
We lend our positive monsters only to have distance plague us
See you in the distance dancing bare-breasted
Holding the plague as it waters you
Let it go, let it go
Then we’ll know that time is the shower casting rainbows
Delicate and silent
Sleep well in the distance
We will never survive the plague
Unless we speak with honest medicine

END OF TIME

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on September 7, 2010 by ravenstooth
Once the days go by…
They’re so lonely.
Grip the hands that bind
If you showed me.

If life is here for me
Then find it certainly
I’ll search the ends of time.

Listen to the wild…
Makes me lonely.
The love from your child
It just glows me.

If my love makes them see
They’ll find it naturally
I’ll give it til the end of time.

So long everybody.
I’ll see you in the end
So long everybody.
I’ll meet you again

Hold on to the night…
When the days are lonely.
Until the break of light
The world would show me.

If my hope gathers me
Makes me love and she,
Will hold me til the end of time.

She would rise my tide…
We’d drift alonely.
There right by my side
She’d be my only.

Our love would always grow
Into the world we’ll flow
And stay there til the end of time.

IT’S NEVER A WASTE OF TIME

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 5, 2010 by ravenstooth
Nothing’s ever a waste of time
To learn from what you find
Even when it’s a hard road to climb
It’s never a waste of time

As you can possibly see
When you’re crying to me
That I’m there if you need
A someone who will heed

And it’s times like these
That seem hard to believe
As we’re weak in our knees
But we’ll never beg to please

And I know you can see
Yeah I told you you’re free
As your wings begin to freeze
Over life’s stormy seas

You know I’d do what I can
To help you with your plan
But you must make your way
And then do what you say

Even though I’ll lend my hand
Your choice is yours to stand
Without getting in the way
The sun keeps coming everyday

Nothing’s ever a waste of time
Even when you have peace of mind
But even that road is hard to climb
It’s never a waste of time

OH WILL YOU

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , on August 21, 2010 by ravenstooth
To close your eyes to never
To let your hued stains run yeahey
An eclipse will steal your visions too
Your beauty and your sun
Oh will you trace me

And the woods contains lang syne
Well equipped to make men die yeahey
As we spill our dainty majesties
There is wilderness in I
Oh will you age me

So when you trace
You better trace yourself
And to come with age in pieces
For your age is worth your death
Oh will you breathe me
So when you breathe
You better breathe yourself
And to smell the air in pieces
For your last breath tastes your death
Oh will you taste me

In the field you are so pretty
As the grasses brush your face yeahey
You washed me with your loving
It was the best I ever will taste
Oh will you let me

MY WEARY SOUL

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on August 7, 2010 by ravenstooth
Push me into a dream of a second kind
Never to believe it when I am alive
Severed from mechanics that turn my mind
Placed like a pinecone will I survive

La… Lalalalalala La…Lalalalalala
I’m sure the sun will roast my weary soul

Drifting into a time that sees no fear
Panic is the master when no one hears
Deadly pleasures wilt my heaven’s sea
Watch as the moccasins trample me

La… Lalalalalala La…Lalalalalala
I search for love inside my weary soul

AHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA…

Passing through like a waterfall shouts
Distance the believer when hilltops are doubts
Crossing into realms without a vision to hold
Open to everything until my eyes fold

La… Lalalalalala La…Lalalalalala
Deeply in the light hunts my weary soul
I’m sure the sun will roast my weary soul
I search for love inside my weary soul
Outside all is lost but my weary soul

MY LOVE WILL BE GIVEN

Posted in poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 29, 2010 by ravenstooth
My love washed up on the hot white shore
And drowning in all my fear
As dawn breaks through the morning clouds
I wonder why am I here

I walk upon the soft and drifted sand
With wind blowing, burning my face
I contemplate the days ahead
As the waves break and then displace

The future, will be up to me
Like the eagle, soaring high and free
In the distance, the ocean’s infinity
And my love will be given cautiously
Yes my love will be given cautiously
Yes my love will be given cautiously

I see beyond the mist and haze
This timeless beach will unveil
I turn to see my previous days
As the waves wash away my trail

Wondering if, will never mend
The footsteps that you have left
I turn back toward my timeless friend
Knowing there is a limit to my quest

My love walks down this lonely beach
Will wander with my fear
My shadow elongates an unseen reach
I wonder how close is near

The ocean’s wind, strikes up the sand
And roughly burns my face
I contemplate the days at hand
As my life I seek and then displace

The future, will be up to me
Like the eagle, soaring high and free
If I make it like the ocean’s infinity
And my love will be given tremendously
Yes my love will be given tremendously
Yes my love will be given tremendously
